Rev. E. Whiting Esqr:
Dear Sir;
I wrote to Rev G. D Pike over two weeks ago and sent him my cash account. I have received no answer. As my expenses were over six dollars more than my receipts and as I was obliged to borrow that amt. I stand greatly in need of it. The letter has been received because a letter enclosed in it for Rev. E. P. Smith has been answered.
I hope you will get the letter and be able to have the receipts appear in the Sept. No. of the A.M.M. You will greatly oblige me by sending me the balance due at your earliest convenience.
I received by last mail the August mag &c.
Very truly yours,
Edmonia G Highgate
