Sir:
Will you please? Let me know if there is any possibility of my receiving an appointment this Winter. I am anxiously waiting to hear from you as I have arranged my affairs here to go[.] I am willing to take whatever the Society can afford to give; and, since Maryland is free to be located in any part of that state: providing there is no vacancy in the locality that I desired.
