Dear Sir
Yours of the 5th inst we received with many thanks to you and Association for the sympathy you have for us in our realy needful condition, knowing by the Independent and also the F[r]eedmens Magazine or Missionary your I might say immense labour for the Freedmen and Refugee.
And we gladly except of M. E. Watson on your terms pledging ourselves for her board & five dollars per month on her salary intending to try to do all we can you have and is doing us a great favor
