Sir,
It is a sour[ce of grat]ification to the Teacher to see with what eagerness and rapidity these Children learn, some a[?]magic. I think if there is a place where [we can] see the fruits of their labor and feel that [they are] not toiling in vain it is here, especially [the] Night School; to see Parents, and Children, [side by] side, and Grand Parents of some who attend the Day School, all manifesting, the same [?] to learn. I thank God daily that I am [here] and feel that I receive as much as I impart.
