Dear Friend
Enclosed please find five dollars the amount received from the sale of books[.] I have endeavored to dispose of them conscientiously. Some were sold at reduced prices to those who were unable to pay in full. A few have been given to Orphan children and some remain on hand for which I have no immediate demand. I trust it meets your approbation.
