You say the people have obtained a grant of land, and want assistance about building or enlarging their school-house. Please inform me what this "grant of land" is. Is there a deed to school trustees, for school purposes? Send me a copy of the "grant," whatever it is, and I will consider the matter of help. Glad you are getting on so well. I was much pleased with the people on my visit to Churchville.
