- Education Supt. Kimball instructs Rachel L. Alexander to write to him to obtain books. The books will be charged to her, and then she is to sell them to the students. Kimball advises Alexander not to order more than she can sell. The books will come from Cushings & Bailey in Baltimore. Kimball advises that it would be best if Alexander finds a way to send for them. With this letter, Kimball has sent a register and report forms. Alexander is to supply her own postage stamps.

Dear Miss:
Write to me for books, stating just what you want, and where, and in what way you want them sent. The books will be charged to you, and you will sell them to the scholars; and do not order what you cannot sell. The books will come to you from [[underlined]] Cushings and Bailey, [[/underlined]] Baltimore, and if you have a way to send for the, that will be better.
Send to me, and I will give an order on [[underlined]] Cushings and Bailey [[/underlined]] to you, which order will procure the books. I send you Register and Blanks. You furnish your own stamps.
