Charles McGrath called to see me this afternoon & requested me to answer your favor with date the 25th ultimo. Your letter would have met with earlier reply - but they are now holding their protracted meeting - after their meeting has closed: you will again hear from him.
I think it would be well for you to drop him a line & state for what terms a teacher can be procured; The colored people need a teacher here very much - and I am of the opinion a good school could be sustained
