Deed made this 10' of Sept 1867 by Geo W. Johnson & Mary Ann his wife for $30 00 They grant unto Chas Waters, Abraham Waters, Peter Bishop, Joseph Henry & John H. Butler, in trust for the purpose of erecting thereon a School House for the use of the colored people of Harford County forever
Land in the middle of new cut road leading to McHenrys Mill & running thence southerly, bounding on the west end of the lot belonging to [[The??]] Zion Church, 161 feet until it intersect [[strikethrough]] the road leading from said Waters [[/strikethrough]] the land of Abraham Waters, thence westerly bounding on the land of said Waters 227 feet until it intersect the road leading from said Waters house to the new cut road, thence northerly binding on said Water road 227 feet to the centre of the new cut road leading to McHenrys Mill, thence easterly by the centre of said road 233 feet to the place of beginning. Containing one acre more or less, the same being a part of a tract of land called Cligetts Forrest & a part of a piece of land bought by said Ed Johnson & John Hollingsworth, as may be seen by deed duly recorded among the card records of Harford Co.
